Three weeks ago my Kiki was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer). Every vet told us it was a painful, fast spreading Cancer and that Kiki may only have weeks or days to live happily. So for the past 3 weeks we've been showering our sweet Kiki with love and greasy human foods that she loved. Her pain progressed and we were forced with the horrible decision to say goodbye.
I truly feel like a part of me is missing and that I have lost my best friend. My friend who was there for me in my awkward early teen years, the friend who somehow fit into my first car to go for walks at north park, my friend who woke me up for my first day of college, my friend who loved watching rain with me on the front porch, my friend who would hop up and greet me everyday despite her pain, and my friend who I shared 12 1/2 amazing years with.
Goodbye my puppy, I will think of you and love you every single day. I can't wait to see your paw-paw again.
